Mayoral reception for Bobby Morrison

Bobby Morrison Funeral Planner Award The Right Worshipful the Mayor, Councillor Allan Ewart, hosted a civic reception in Lagan Valley Island on Tuesday 30th March for the family and staff of Bobby Morrison Funeral Director’s. Bobby, who recently celebrated 25 years in business, has been named Golden Charter Regional Funeral Planner of the Year for Northern Ireland 2010 for the second year running for his dedication and commitment in providing an outstanding service to the community. Pauline Livingstone received the award on behalf of the local firm, at a recent Golden Charter Award Ceremony in Hilton Docklands Hotel, London. In addition to the silver salver and framed certificate from Golden Charter, the Woodland Trust has dedicated ten trees in Bobby Morrison Funeral Director’s name at Seymour Hill, Dunmurry in recognition of their achievement.

Bobby was judged as a regional winner from over 1,400 other funeral businesses that exclusively offer Golden Charter funeral plans, the largest funeral-planning network in the UK. On receiving the award he said, “I am absolutely delighted to receive this award, which pays tribute to all the hard work put into the business by my family and the dedication and professionalism of the staff”.
